Property Change Town Planners, assisted in obtaining the planning permit for 567-569 High Street, Northcote, by navigating the requirements set out in the Darebin Planning Scheme. We assisted with:

1. Preparing and Submitting the Application – Ensuring compliance with planning requirements under clauses such as:

Clause 34.01-4 & 43.02-2: Construction and works.

Clause 52.06-3: Reduction of car parking spaces.

Clause 52.27: Securing a late-night liquor license.

2. Liaising with the Responsible Authority – Engaging with the City of Darebin to address planning concerns and negotiate permit conditions.

3. Facilitating Compliance Reports – Including:

Acoustic Reports to meet noise control standards.

Waste Management Plans ensuring proper disposal and collection.

Patron and Venue Management Plans covering operational details, security, and noise mitigation.

4. Ensuring Permit Conditions Are Met – Adapting plans to align with council requirements, such as:

• Seating arrangements.

• Noise control measures.

• Operational hour restrictions (e.g., courtyard closing by 10 PM).
